Why County Commissioner

I’m running for Lehigh County Commissioner because I believe local government should work for everyone—not just the well-connected. As someone who has spent my entire career helping students and families cut through red tape to access education and opportunity, I’ve seen how thoughtful, strategic policy can change lives. I’m not a career politician—I’m a working parent, a financial aid expert, and someone who knows what it means to fight for systems that actually serve people. I want to bring that same focus and follow-through to county government, so that our families can thrive, our young people stay, and our communities grow stronger together.

What I bring to the table is a record of results: stretching limited resources to deliver real outcomes, building creative coalitions across departments, and making complex systems more accessible and humane. From launching emergency grants for students during the pandemic, to connecting employers with education systems, to building leadership teams that drive innovation—I know how to turn good ideas into action. I will bring that same spirit of collaboration, transparency, and resourcefulness to Lehigh County, making sure we leave no opportunity—or community member—behind.
